I like the fact that The Glen has all levels of care, so it’s not just a nursing home. There’s independent living, assisted living, a rehab, and then there’s the nursing home portion, where my dad is. I think it’s a little more lively place because it has a mix of people. They do a really nice job with the activities for the residents and keeping the families updated on the status of their residents.
My return visit 2 days later said medication was still in the hallway floor. One of the nurses does not properly administer Insulin and it dripped down the patients arm not in his blood stream. Said patient was horribly neglected and now has a great possibility of losing his foot due to neglect he received there. I am totally disgusted by the level of care in this facility. I wouldn’t suggest taking loved ones to this facility. There are recordings of incidents that have taken place in this particular facility that raises serious concern.
