The team of professional support staff has helped us to improve many aspects of our life, social life included. Individuals who choose to receive SLS residential service live in ordinary homes, with 3-4 roommates, throughout the city of Erie and Erie county. We provide Supported Home Living Services to help people with intellectual and developmental challenges live as freely as possible in their own homes by assisting with activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene. Each individual's level and scope of Supported Home Living Services differs significantly, so their specific plan is tailored to them. Previously, housing and support were usually provided by a charity or local council.
